Download the official installer
Always download Ledger Live only from the official website and verify checksums.
Run the installer
On macOS, drag the app into Applications. On Windows, run the .exe and follow prompts. On Linux, use the provided AppImage or package.
Open Ledger Live & connect device
Follow the in-app flow to connect your Ledger hardware and confirm transactions via the device.
Keep your recovery phrase safe
Never enter your recovery phrase into any software. Ledger Live will never ask for your seed — only confirm info on your device.
Enterprise / Silent install

Can I use Ledger Live without a Ledger device?
You can view documentation and some features, but secure transaction signing requires a Ledger hardware wallet connected to Ledger Live.
